Radiator core support had completely rusted out and had to be repaired (welded in a new one). My mechanic told me about 4 years ago that we'd have to keep an eye on it and it finally had to be done. It is parked outside 24/7 but receives excellent preventive maintenance otherwise. Part #5LZ16138A "only" cost $554.00 but the labor took the remainder. The shop does excellent work, however. |
