We love the styling of the Flex.Expecially like the two tone roof/body.There is nothing else like it on the road and it can hold a ton of stuff in the rear.
We have the 3.5 L Ecoboost engine and what a great motor/transmission combo. Coming from a 2002 V8 Explorer which drank gas like it was going out of style, the Flex is a huge improvement. It gets about 20% better mileage, is much smoother/quieter and pulls our 3000lb. tent trailer much better.
We have had no issues at all with this car in the two years of ownership. Should qualify that. Had the grinding of the brakes but that was all looked after by the dealership under warranty and no problems since. Great quality in the interior and nice materials too.
We bought this second hand out of Seattle and that is the way to go. The original owner kept the factory sticker in the glove box and it was over $45000 new! We bought it 2 years later and it only had 12000 miles on it and paid $31000. I would not have wanted to be the original owner.
