Sunroof leaked from both front corners into the interior during a heavy, all-day rain. A neighbor in the next campsite provided sealing tape and saved an 18-mile trip into town. Dealer found debris in the sunroof drains and cleared them. Rattle upon raising the rear hatch. Dealer couldn't locate the source, but the rattle persists, sounding of a plastic bit that's adrift.
7000 mi Several paint issues discovered due to contaminates under paint causing a bump.
18600 mi D pillar panel loose. Door misaligned Paint bubbling around underside of hood. Taillights rubbing against body

parts in and repair completed
38000 mi

US $100
Replaced door handle drivers side and painted
34000 mi Door hinge on drivers side door has a metal squeak. Replaced the slide and removed door, extensive diagnosis by techs and body shop. Problem was unable to be pinpointed. Problem not resolved. Rattle with rear spoiler. Earlier repairs for rattles and water leak. Nothing was repaired at this time. Screws keep falling out of the spoiler and the trim covering has started rattling now because it has been taken off many times.
36000 mi Spoiler rattle was resolved by the dealer by using threadlocker. The rattle was a trim clip that fell off during a previous repair for the spoiler bolts. Both fixed and resolved.
44000 mi Ford Corporate was involved, engineering rep said it was considered a engineering defect with the car. Solution was to cut out A pillar and repair. I chose to decline the fix as it would compromise the safety cage of the vehicle and residual value.
