I like this car - handles well and gets great fuel economy. However if I were to re-do I might have bought a slightly bigger car like a fusion.

Car is very responsive and has plenty of power. Automatic shifting is not great but acceptable.
Hard driving - stop and go on the highway gets me 30+ mpg.
The SES with the wider tires are quite rough around town - ESP after 40k miles - but is really firm on the highway. I really enjoy my commutes now.
Nice interior - but a bit small. Lack of cubbies makes keeping the car tidy a challenge.
Why Not the 2010 Ford Focus?
Great fuel economy. Abt 30 mpg with hard highway driving and abt 26-27mpg with all suburban driving.
Conclusion
Great handling, great fuel economy. Reliable.
