Clamp broke on radiator hose, lost all coolant. Engine light on, with engine fault notification. Car went into some type of RPM/speed limits. Had to have towed to dealer. replaced cap, pressurized system, refilled coolant. Cost seemed a little high, but its a dealer. Have not had good luck with independents. Half the time they don't bother fixing the problem, so I'm like "why did you suggest I bring it in?"
8000 mi
Erratic idle and hesitation. Was diagnosed as part of a TSB campaign.
17100 mi
Engine was shuddering when letting off throttle during stop/go traffic with the clutch in, and exhibiting other symptoms of faulty ground splices in the engine harness.
Tried to convince dealer to perform TSB for ground splices, unsuccessfully. Dealer "couldn't reproduce". Performed repair myself, successfully.
44000 mi
Completed recall for stumbling and stalling. Wiring harness splice replaced under recall.

Car bucked and stalled, no restart. Needed to be towed to dealer. Dealer cleaned MAP sensor, not under warranty. Reflashed PCM. Car runs, but lumpy idle.

Intermittent check engine code. Pulled P0420 code several times but doesn't stick around long enough to go to dealer.

8000 mi
Car stalling/dying under deceleration. Diagnosed as loose signal return splices. Repaired under warranty. Covered by published TSB.
1000 mi
Check engine light repeatedly coming on, overboost condition code. Vacuum hoses switched from factory.
Engine malfunction light came on. I took it to a Ford dealer. They diagnosed the problem as mass air flow pipe fault. A new pipe was ordered, so my car stayed for 2 days. As my car is still under warranty the repair did not cost me anything.
EVAP canister had to be replaced to resolve P1450 error. Slow filling of gas tank.
30000 mi
small oil leak at timing cover, dealer repaired (removed/reinstalled silicone)
164000 mi
US $50
one coil went bad, but replaced all, as well as spark plugs
11500 mi
I noticed a "metal on metal" noise and brought the car to dealer. They told me it was just normal engine noise. A couple thousand miles later, there was a "knocking" noise in the engine. Ford wanted me to drive the car in, I insisted upon a tow (under warranty). They took a week to diagnose that it was indeed a spun bearing. They solution was to replace the entire shortblock.
61000 mi
Car started stalling while driving. Found to be bad EGR purge valve which caused suction on the fuel tank, imploding the fuel tank. They had to replace the fuel tank, fuel pump, EVAP canister, and EGR Purge valve. Was covered under extended 75K mile warranty that I purchased with the car.
11500 mi
I have an oil leak at the rear of the engine. The dealer couldn't pinpoint the leak so they installed dye in the engine oil and told me to come back in one or two weeks. They used the UV dye to ascertain that the leak was from the oil pan gasket and replaced it.
Hi voltage wiring got wet in the rain and had to be replaced. This is Day 7 and the repair is not yet completed (Ford has yet to find/ship the right part to the dealer). Problem is subject to a recall.
