The Ford Fusion displays a well appointed interior and exterior using many high quality materials. Nothing about the Fusion feels cheap or passed over in favor of cutting costs.
The interior is well appointed and features many unique styling ques that give the Fusion more character and a very warm atmosphere. Of special note is the center analog clock bezel which is an absolute masterpiece.
Even with the 3.0L V6 the car still labors a bit going up freeway on ramps. 220-230hp is just not enough for a vehicle this size. 250-300hp would have been much better, but obviously fuel economy would be even worse than it is.
Handling is superb for an American car, but absolutely horrible when compared to the Europeans and Japanese. Even though it feels quite stable through corners there is a vague feeling to the steering, almost like driving a bathtub.
