Transmission slow shifting into 4th gear only. Installed shift correction kit, new transmission pump shaft and bearings.

Torque Converter fragmented in transmission causing transmission pump performance failure and gear damage. No light indication. A whining pump noise at start up, which disappeared after warm up, was only indication. Dealer identified problem too late.
