2dr Convertible 252-horsepower 3.9L V8 5-speed automatic RWD

Why the 2002 Ford Thunderbird?

Fuel economy

This car consistently delivers 28 to 32 miles per gallon on the highway cruising at 110 kph (65 mph)and for a V8 engine this is excellent.

Handling

I have driven this vehicle on the Nashville Raceway high bank oval at speeds in excess of 200 kph with standard street tires and it was so stable that you could take you hands off the wheel in the straight aways. Surpised the heck out of me too.

Quietness

The car is well insulated especially with the hardtop on the car but the convertible is far quieter than any other convert I have ever driven.

Reliability & durability

I have owned this car for 5 years and have spent nothing on it! I recently replaced the tires at 88,000 kms (53,000 miles)and that is it other than routine maintence. No issues what so ever.
