GMC Yukon Reliability And Durability: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2010 4dr SUV, ext. 320-horsepower 5.3L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic 4WD
Good experience with previous models. full 2010 GMC Yukon review
2002 4dr SUV 285-horsepower 5.3L V8
4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
Reliability has been a mixed bag. It came from the factory with a radiator that leaked into the tranny-oil cooler. GM fixed that under warranty. The computer in the radio died, which drained the battery. The replacement was DOA. Now I have an aftermarket head unit. A couple of little items (the washer bottles, for example) have broken, but I have never worried about the powertrain or the soundness of the body or chassis; and the interior and exterior have held up very well. full 2002 GMC Yukon review
2001 4dr SUV 320-horsepower 6.0L V8
4-speed automatic AWD
11 years 187,000 miles and the only thing I have ever had to change besides regular wear/maintenance itemswas a water pump, rear a/c evaporator, 2 window regulators.Extremely comfortable, luxurious, great styling and extremely economical.Power and operationis strong as always. full 2001 GMC Yukon review
