Ignition safety sensor had to be replaced multiple times by dealer. According to them the placement of this sensor is poor and prone to shorting out. Truck would not start frequently due to passlock ignition system. If it did not start and I made the mistake of trying it twice I would have to wait 30 minutes for the truck to start. Correcting this issue could have involved replacing the entire ignition system.

Will never own another Canyon.
