150 mi dealer kept the car for over a week, putting on over 200 miles to get the rattles and squeaks out.
1100 mi A rattle noise is sometimes heard coming from the heads-up display on top of the dash while driving. The service department was able to duplicate the sound. They disassembled the dash and added additional foam. The noise is still present however, so I'll be bringing the car in again next week. There's also a slight hood misalignment which I'll bring to their attention as well. Brought car to dealer and they added more foam. The problem appears to have been fixed, but will need to wait until colder weather to see if the issue resurfaces.
300 mi The hood is not aligned well. It seems to only affect early production cars because all of the new ones I see looks good. I should have inspected the exterior better and rejected this one. It doesn't affect the functionality of the car. The silver paint makes the difference in gap between the left and right side more obvious than a darker color would have. The dealer will not fix it because it is within the tolerances allowed by Honda.
25000 mi Front passenger fender realigned due to gap.
35000 mi Trunk wasn’t flush and has gap issues. Also, gap that was located on passenger side fender was repaired again.

200 mi Due to extremely cold weather, I found that when I hit the brake pedal and then the gas pedal, a clunking sound was heard from beneath the dash. When the car was test driven, the tech was unable to hear the noise. Subsequently, I went for a ride with him and the noise was nearly inaudible. Talking to the tech afterwards, he concluded that it was cold related and since the car was in the heated service department for about 1/2 hour before driving it, it has warmed up to the extent that the problem "disappeared". I'll take it in again when it's cold and make sure that the car remains outside so it won't warm up too much. Update - the tech did some additional sound insulation work (tape and/or foam) and since then (about April 2019) I haven't experienced the noise regardless of temperature. So I consider the problem fixed.
5900 mi I did a fair amount of bitching about the fact that service could not find (or even hear) the sound. I kept bringing the car in to have this problem looked at again. The one tech had said during a test drive that he did hear the sound and they finally put him on the job. I left the car for a day and he put insulating foam everywhere under the dash that he thought could be causing the noise. My perseverance finally paid off, as the effort by this particular tech finally got rid of the noise. I don't know exactly where he used the foam and I didn't really care since I was just glad that the problem was solved. Since then, I've been able to enjoy the benefits of Honda's major effort at improving sound insulation of the 2018 Accord... the car is amazingly quiet, far quieter than any Accord that I had previously owned.
7000 mi Interior noise, rattle in the center console. Dealer was able to repair

20500 mi Trunk opens by itself for no reason. Reported to dealer and to Honda several times, no resolution. Other owners have the same problem with this model. This problem went away on its own in about Aug of 2017 or so, I suspect it was due to external RF interference.
