Why the 2008 Honda Accord?

Reliability & durability

I drive quite a bit: since purchasing this vehicle new in February, I have put well over 19,000 miles on the odometer. Up to this point, I have had no problems, mechanical or otherwise.

Fuel economy

I drive with a relatively heavy foot, and yet still manage about 27-28 miles per gallon combined. A really great feature of the Accord is its large 18.5 gallon fuel tank, which easily allows for 500+ miles per tank.

Exterior styling

Without a doubt, this is one of the most attractive Honda coupes to come out in a long time. The curves are nicely placed and the rear end is gorgeous. I believe that this styling will look as good in 5 years as it does now.

Handling

Keeping in mind the limitations of front wheel drive, the Accord (at least in coupe guise) provides for a very engaging feel on the road. I love to take trips down curvy roads, where the car turns especially sharp into corners.

Why Not the 2008 Honda Accord?

Cargo capacity

This is a given, as I have a coupe. However, I will say that I can very comfortably haul myself and three friends inside. The backseat is large enough to accommodate most passengers. My record so far is seven people (in a very quick trip)!

Quietness

The tires do permit quite a bit of noise inside the cabin. My vehicle is equipped with the Active Noise Cancellation technology, which does a great job of keeping the engine noise subdued (although it seems to become more effective as speed increases).
