This is my 5th Accord and if it is anything like my past experiences with Honda I will be well pleased. Honda automobiles are for the most part trouble free and when you go to trade they hold their resale value much better than most other brands. You may pay a little more for Honda as they have no rebates but when you trade after 9 years as I did you will recoup the extra you spent and more. I traded in a 2004 Accord EX with 104,000 miles on the odometer and got an allowance of $10,250 with was $1,000 over retail. You cannot get that sort of trade with just about any other make. I have also always gotten better mileage than the EPA estimate with every Accord I have owned. I expect the same with the 2013. I did drive other brands but when it came time to shell out my hard earned money I again went with Honda. full 2013 Honda Accord review

My first car was a 1985 Accord LX that I had for 13 years and 200,000 miles. My second was a 1995 Acura Integra GSR that I had for 13 years and 200,000+ miles. Both cars were driven hard yet were very reliable and kept their good looks/resale value. full 2008 Honda Accord review

I have owned 5 Accords. A 1989, 1995, 2003, 2004, and now this 2013. This is by far the best of the bunch. I had no problems with any of my Accords except the 2004. The transmission failed at 73,000 miles. Although the car was out of warranty Honda paid $2,500 of the $3,500 costs of repair. I was out $1,000 but well pleased with how Honda dealt with me on this. full 2013 Honda Accord review

I have been looking at the Sonata for several years now. My experience with a 2008 Santa Fe bought through the dealership has been excellent. The 2012 Sonata was less that a 2011 Accord and has more bells and whistles. Honda had no dealing attitude full 2012 Hyundai Sonata review

2009 4dr Sedan 175-horsepower 2.4L I4

Have owned Sonata with I4 engine since 7/2009. Reason for buying was biggest bang for the buck at the time of purchase and past experiance with Sonata rental cars. Very happy with engine/auto transmission, the V6 would be a waste. Excellent fuel mileage, have been keeping accurate records, overall average since 2010 is 30.8mpg. During 2009 and 2010 was making a lot of 500 mile trips every other weekend. Until early 2010 I was able to obtain non-ethanol unleaded gasoline and was getting 36-38mpg on the interstates and 33.5mpg overall. Ethanol definitely lowers your gas mileage (simple physics). Had one trip to the dealership for warranty work for 2 items at 50K; broken spring on sun visor and defective brake switch causing an "ESC" malfunction. Obviously I'm very very happy with the car which has 66k on it now, and I plan on keeping it till 200k like I do all my vehicles. full 2009 Hyundai Sonata review
