Why the 2008 Honda CR-V?

Safety & braking

It gets very high safety ratings. The brakes are OK as far as we know but we have not had to execute a panic stop to see how they would respond to that.

Interior styling

The interior materials are of high quality and the seats are very comfortable. There is a lot of room inside for the exterior dimensions of the car.

Ride smoothness

It is fairly quiet, at least for a Honda, and the ride is very comfortable. It also corners and handles well for a SUV.

Fuel economy

We have gotten as high as 35 mpg on the highway under optimal conditions. It does not do as well in town, usually running around 18, but we drive the Prius in town and use the CR-V for road trips.

Why Not the 2008 Honda CR-V?

Exterior styling

It just looks a little strange. The high points for the car more than make up for the exterior styling.
