Having never used oil between oil services suddenly the CRV needed 800ml of oil after 5000km since the previous oil change. The shop looked for leaks etc and found none. Topped up the oil and the same oil usage occurred over the next 5000km. I have now switched to Mobile 1 Synthetic High Mileage oil in the hope that the oil seal swelling component in the oil will help with the usage.
