Introduction

I could cry every time I drive it. Shuddering at 2000rpm, 40-60 mph. Hills and curves are very unpleasant in this car, the transmission feels like it's going to just die. Jerky shifting, and pulling. Dealer confirmed my complaints, now waiting to hear from the Honda rep. I just want my money back. I love the look of the car. Heat doesn't work very well and I don't like the radio buttons. I had a 94 Accord years ago, 14 yrs and 350K miles. I was hoping for the same kind of reliability. I'd be surprised if this CRV lasts a year. There certainly won't be any resale value. Honda isn't what it used to be. I'm currently looking into comparable vehicles.

Love the look. New style fog lights are great. Cool headlights and leds.

Conclusion

NO ONE should buy this car. It has serious issues that need to be reworked.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep an eye out for complaints concerning Honda's CVTs. I don't think they've been requiring repairs--the 2013 and up Accords with this transmission have been very reliable--but this could change.

Have you tried the new TSB that is supposed to address the issue? It took me about 6 weeks for the parts to come in, but the vehicle is in the shop today for the repair. We'll see what it does.
