Car, when driving between 60 to 80 kph, felt like going over a washboard. Mechanic identified problem as needing new front struts and mounts. Also said left front strut leaking oil badly, right starting to. Parts ordered. Replaced struts. Knocking sound when turning steering wheel. Figured out strut was a dud. Ordered another.
One wasted trip because supplier sent wrong mount. With next trip, replaced bad replacement strut, finally fixed.
