This applies to the brand. Very satisfied with the 1992 Accord I had until I bought this Civic.
Remains to be seen. Bought on basis of good reputation for this car.

Why Not the 2009 Honda Civic?
After spending a lot of time with the bass and treble controls on the radio I have found it impossible to find settings that produce an acceptable voice tone. The settings I finally hit on are OK for music, but voices are just odd sounding. No nav system
Trunk is small even for a car this size. Have no plans to do any towing, and doubt this is a suitable vehicle for that task.
Had an agreed price through an affinity program, but dealer tried to add on one of his accessory packages for a price that exactly matched the value of my trade in. I refused to pay for it and was ready to walk. He relented and sold for agreed price.
