Why the 2009 Honda Fit?

Exterior styling

The 2009 Honda Fit is significantly longer than previous models and offers a greater feeling of spaciousness while at the same time offering good visibility

Materials & workmanship

The interior materials are high quality and do not feel cheap. The transmissions shift lever pops into gear very smoothly and the steering wheel feels very positive in the hands.

Powertrain performance

The engine is very rev-happy and is up quite a bit to over 120hp as opposed to the pathetic 104hp of the previous model. V-Tec engages very positively and offers a noticeable improvement in acceleration.

Fuel economy

Fuel economy is absolutely amazing. I am averaging 30+mpg in the city with "spirited" driving practices and well over 40mpg when commuting.

Handling

I can toss the Fit into just about any corner and she handles it like a dream. Steering is firm and responsive with good feedback. Typical FWD under steer is still apparent but not terribly so.
