2015 Honda Fit Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh With 130 horsepower, the new Honda Fit's "Earth Dreams" 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine has a clear output edge over the 109-horspower Nissan mill. The dash to 60 mph can be achieved in well under nine seconds, versus about ten in the Versa Note. If you want much more grunt, you'll need... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Nissan Versa Note |

2014 Ford Fiesta SE EcoBoost Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The optional 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine doesn't produce significantly more peak power than the standard non-turbocharged 1.6-liter four: 123 vs. 120 horsepower. The Fit outpowers both, with 130. Then there are the transmissions. Both Ford engines are paired with a box that contains five tall, widely spaced ratios. Especially with... 2012 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4292 Would benefit from a higher gear on the highway. |

2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member5723 The 117bhp version is extremely under-powered. It's hard to maintain highway speeds at reasonable rpm's with 3 people of average weight in the car. The acceleration feels sluggish and throttle feels unresponsive at times. |
2012 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4778 Throttle map makes the most of engine torque but it will happily wind out to the limiter in S-mode. Trans shifts either frugally or briskly depending on throttle position. Has a nice, growly intake noise. Sewing machine tick-over at idle is endearing. |

2008 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member1565 I wish my fit had a 6th gear. It revs in the 3000rpm range on the highway, and I wish it didn't. A taller final drive with a 6mt would be nice. Mostly it's a city runabout and perfect for that. |

2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4455 What a dog, enough said. |
2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member5410 Small, weak engine, but it can accelerate quickly for what it is. Most important issue, but definitely not a major con. |
2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons A member in Illinois, United States The engine is smooth and peppy. The transmission is pretty well sorted, save for some unusual 1st gear start jerkiness (light throttle helps). The paddle shifters are a fun novelty. |
2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4880 Garden variety automatic transmission. Nothing too inspiring. |
2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4861 Slow to accelerate, could use 10 ft-lbs. more torque |

2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4443 Upper end of MT should be geared a bit higher. Hiway MPG worse than local MPG |
2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons ljmattox Manual trans models are fun, even though providing fairly modest acceleration. AT models are lethargic...like hitched to a millstone. Very sluggish. |

2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4022 Very underpowered with any added weight beyond driver + passenger. |
2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4022 greatly underpowered when carrying anything more than driver and one passenger. |
2010 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member4000 little underpowered but that is coming from a larger engine |
2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member3886 The engine is very rev-happy and is up quite a bit to over 120hp as opposed to the pathetic 104hp of the previous model. V-Tec engages very positively and offers a noticeable improvement in acceleration. |

2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons A member in Utah, United States It is really reliable. |
2008 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member3202 Could use more power. Could also use a 6th gear. Engine gets thrashy when revved. 5sp shifter is excellent, knotchy and precise. |
2009 Honda Fit Pros and Cons Member2801 A little more powerful than the Yaris |
