2010 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4

Fair price for a Honda
2009 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4

The payments are affordable and Honda Finance is easy to access for online payments.
2009 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
It was under 20k, but more expensive than the similar models from other manufacturers.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Paid MSRP for base fit, used honda finance, with low down payment my monthly payments are $240 (60 months). Not bad for a new car.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed manual FWD
I only considered cars that would cost $20,000 or less, including tax and fees. My Fit was less than $17,000.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed manual FWD
I only consider cars that I could purchase for $20,000 or less, including tax and fees. My Fit was under $17,000, including tax and fees.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4

cheap for a new car. My payments are only $250 a month.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed manual FWD
This car was a great value for the money. We could have paid less for a similar hatchback, but I don't feel we would have gotten the safety or reliability of the Fit.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Much lower total price than H.Civic or Accord EX.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4

It was a reasonable price and the dealer gave a low interest rate on payments.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
We felt that we got a lot of features for the cost and are very happy with the price we paid.

2013 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Honda seems to be relying very much on its brand image to justify the high price for this car. The older design felt premium if austere on the inside. This newer iteration feels gimicky but has a slightly higher feature level. But the fit and finish is fair and totally unbecoming of a Honda. Base level models have poor seat fabrics. And the car (any version) feels tinny and flimsy overall for the money being paid. This car should cost $13000 to $ 15000 max. Buying a fit over $15K seem to be counter-intuitive as there are a lot of cars out there that offer much better value for the money.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Base price was less than the Scion xD but by the time the extra packages were added it was more.
2008 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed manual FWD
More expensive than the xB for less standard features and room.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Hard to find inexpensive and used.
2007 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4

Price was very high as compared to the Yaris when I test drove it. The low end model was not available at the time.

2004 4dr Hatch 130-horsepower 1.8L I4

In the summer of 2007, I bought this car from a Lincoln-Mercury dealership that had taken it in trade - for $8,995. The car was (and still is) in excellent condition.
2003 4dr Hatch 130-horsepower 1.8L I4

It was pretty cheap to buy - $8000.
2003 4dr Hatch 130-horsepower 1.8L I4

Climate control & stereo system in base model. Rear wipers and defrost should be standard. Rear window becomes translucent with heavy rain or snow, which can be cleared easily by 1-3 wiper cycles.
2003 4dr Hatch 130-horsepower 1.8L I4
5-speed manual FWD
The Matrix was an affordable car. At the time, there were very few options under $20k that met all our needs.
