| 2011 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | 15,100 as a starting point for a 5 speed base which now comes with cruise!!! Why spend extra for the sport all you get is a spoiler, fog lights and alloy rims (1700.00 more ) Plus I got .90% financing. Thank you Honda!!! |
| 2010 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | Fair price for a Honda |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | The payments are affordable and Honda Finance is easy to access for online payments. |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD | It was under 20k, but more expensive than the similar models from other manufacturers. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | Paid MSRP for base fit, used honda finance, with low down payment my monthly payments are $240 (60 months). Not bad for a new car. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | I only considered cars that would cost $20,000 or less, including tax and fees. My Fit was less than $17,000. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | I only consider cars that I could purchase for $20,000 or less, including tax and fees. My Fit was under $17,000, including tax and fees. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | cheap for a new car. My payments are only $250 a month. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | This car was a great value for the money. We could have paid less for a similar hatchback, but I don't feel we would have gotten the safety or reliability of the Fit. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD | Much lower total price than H.Civic or Accord EX. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | It was a reasonable price and the dealer gave a low interest rate on payments. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD | We felt that we got a lot of features for the cost and are very happy with the price we paid. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | Cheaper than other cars with comparable cargo capacity. |
| Price of the Honda Fit: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2013 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD | Honda seems to be relying very much on its brand image to justify the high price for this car. The older design felt premium if austere on the inside. This newer iteration feels gimicky but has a slightly higher feature level. But the fit and finish is fair and totally unbecoming of a Honda. Base level models have poor seat fabrics. And the car (any version) feels tinny and flimsy overall for the money being paid. This car should cost $13000 to $ 15000 max. Buying a fit over $15K seem to be counter-intuitive as there are a lot of cars out there that offer much better value for the money. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | Base price was less than the Scion xD but by the time the extra packages were added it was more. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD | More expensive than the xB for less standard features and room. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | Hard to find inexpensive and used. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | Price was very high as compared to the Yaris when I test drove it. The low end model was not available at the time. |

| 2012 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Main touchpoints are solid. Nothing has a rough edge. Even less common touchpoints are at least pleasant in texture. Hardly a squeak or rattle, doesn't flex over wacky surfaces. Fit and finish is overall very good. Panel gaps are tight and even. |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
The car is put together solidly, with few rattles and squeaks. |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
The interior materials are high quality and do not feel cheap. The transmissions shift lever pops into gear very smoothly and the steering wheel feels very positive in the hands. |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Even the cheap plastic looks good. They know how to build a car that looks good and wears well without charging a ton. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
There is a lot of attention to detail and evidence of sound engineering throughout the car. Engine compartment is neatly organized. Material quality is excellent for a car at this price. No glaring evidence of cost cutting anywhere, amazing for a $15k car |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
All of the hard plastic trim parts fit very well. No rattles or squeaks noted in daily driving over a variety of street surfaces. Ergonomics and dash/control design is very good and visually appealing. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed manual FWD |

| 2010 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
Compared to the Fiesta there is less attention to details. Fit lacks padded door armrest. Controls are more cluttered up. |
| 2009 | 4dr Hatch 117-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
The car seemed to be made out of very low-grade material. The seat covers, the body panels, the carpeting. You could hear the radio outside of the car even with doors/windows shut tight. The seatcovers never could stay lint/hair free. |
| 2008 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Very Plastic |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
Cheap - plastic and floor mats slide around. Vent tabs not working and seat material looks like it will wear easily. |
| 2007 | 4dr Hatch 109-horsepower 1.5L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Cheap carpet used in the rear and on the seat backs. Cheaper carpet used for the floor mats. |
