2010 Honda Odyssey Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by Darby
Darby
Reliability & durability
I have to say this car has been very reliable. I have nothing to add, it just goes always.
Powertrain performance
Very smooth transmission with plenty of power on hills and passing.
Exterior styling
What can I stay it's a station wagon.
Interior styling
A bit too rustic, too much plastic. The fold down consol thing between front seats is useless.
The radio, Dvd player is located in the center of dash, very hard to change radio station,
dangerous for people unfamiliar with the vehicle.
It is not possible to aim the A\C vents directely at driver or passenger, a serious plunder on Honda's part. In cold weather the drivers left foot and leg could get frostbitten, no heat directed towards it. Reminds me of flying in a Cessna in icy conditions.
I general the interior is very plain and nothing to to mention other than above.
Handling
The vehicle handles very well.
Quietness
This car has the noisiest interior of any car that I have owned previously (me, 68 years)
There is no (none) soundproofing in the sides of the vehicle, my grandson's 1985 VW van is quieter.
The dealer suggested some other tires, said it would take care of it. A very small improvement not enough to matter.
Tires
Came when new with Michelin tires, too noisey.
Front seat room
Just acceptable.
Front seat support & comfort
These seats kill both my wife and my back on long trips.
Driving position & visibility
Right side rear large blind spot.
