Temperature sensor is going out in the automatic transmission. I got an engine check light on the instrument panel, took it in & got it diagnosed. They have to order the part so they just gave me the cost to replace it & scheduled me in. Also, an update on my previous repair at 103,000 miles: They replaced the automatic transmission sensor. Costs $674.76. Dealer repaired it.

Have had trouble with this before, transmission doesn't work properly. I don't bother to call Hyundai anymore, they are very bad with customer service/satisfaction issues.

110-horsepower 1.6L I4 4-speed automatic FWD

135000 mi Car starts in limp home mode - mechanic sent it to dealer - dealer said it needed new computer - new computer put in at mechanics cost - condition still persists.
135500 mi Car starts in limp-home mode - been off and on for 4 months - been to the shop multiple times since June - two new transmissions and a new computer. As of today, issue persists. I only paid for the first trans - my mechanic covered rest. Same as before - bought another car today so Hyundai can spend extended time at shop.
143000 mi

US $80
Same issue as before - found loose transmission ground. Fixed the problem - probably didn't need original transmission replacement.
