2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh While competitors have been switching to relatively small turbocharged engines, the Genesis continues to rely on larger normally aspirated ones. Even the base car's 3.8-liter V6 is nearly twice the size of the Audi's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Also, Hyundai doesn't yet offer automatic stop/start. The most significant impact: the... Comparison vehicle: 2016 Audi A6 / S6 |

2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh To achieve the stiff body structure behind the impressive safety scores and ride quality, Hyundai added substantial reinforcements, including a brace at every corner of the engine compartment. First one was a 2010 4.6L and this has the 6 cyl and it is nearly as quick but gets better fuel mileage. I get in the high 20's on the highway. Used to get 25 to 27 in the 8cyl. This 2012 has an... |

2009 Hyundai Genesis Pros and Cons A member in Florida, United States Others say they are getting the 18 to 24 MPG claimed. I find that when I do 80% "suburban driving" (strip malls, lights, in/out of car, etc), I get 16 at best. When I am doing 80 on the highway w/ cruise control, I get 23-26. |

2009 Hyundai Genesis Pros and Cons Member2626 With all the added technology, I would have expected better mileage. I average slightly less than 20 MPH and that is the same as an older heavier STS without the latest and greatest engine management features. |
