Windshield was irreparably cracked, replaced. 
31600 mi Rear hatch lock quit working, could not open . Took it to dealer as it was under warranty ( 5yr/60,000miles, good standard coverage). I will note that this was the ONLY repair trip made in the 5 yrs we have owned the Santa Fe ! Impressive ! 
21300 mi Problem with shift interlink causing a problem to turn key in ignition. Occured twice and not from cramped wheel problem. Dealer could not duplicate problem however installed and rekeyed a new lock cylinder as a possible source of problem. 
23420 mi The back hatch was not opening all the way. Needed to replace oil springs.
