2012 Hyundai Sonata 4dr Sedan

turbocharged 274hp 2.0L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD

49000 mi Start button intermittent. Problem corrected, when they did the recall for shifter cable. Switch was damaged and was intermittent... Had shifter position sensor replaced and now ok.
34080 mi Defective transmission pan sensor and harness. It required two separate trips to get all the parts replaced. Covered by warranty.
29000 mi I was having problems with the automatic transmission--late shifts, inconsistent, struggling to find a gear. I took it for service and they "re-learned the transmission adaptive learning" (their words, not mine) and the problem seemed to go away.
4900 mi Rough shifts. Transmission temperature range sensor replaced
63000 mi This was to repair a known manufacturer defect in the drivetrain where the transmission slips out of gear and/or will not shift into gear. This was fixed under warranty by the dealer.
