Why the 2006 Infiniti M?

Exterior styling

Either you love it or hate it--looks like a G sedan's big brother. Tail lights seem a bit large, but you could tint them to tone it down. I added the OEM front lip spoiler and mud guards, as well as an aftermarket trunk and roof spoiler.

Interior styling

I like the aluminum trim--I have the M45 Sport Model. The orange lighting is dated, but it works with the interior.

Color choices

I like the color combination I have--Diamond Graphite exterior with black/cream interior.

Powertrain performance

V8 power!! 'nuff said.

Fuel economy

V8 power--it's a gas guzzler and could've used an extra 1 or 2 speeds more since it revs so high at highway speeds.

Why Not the 2006 Infiniti M?

Handling

Handles like a much smaller car considering it's over 4000 pounds. The rear active steering seems to work (I use to drive a 2000 Acura TL) and this car handles better than that at speed.

Ride smoothness

Pretty smooth-especially considering I have the Sport-tuned suspension and 19 inch tires.

Quietness

Cabin noise is loud, but could be crap tires I have on it right now--changing tires will definitely help (mentioned on enthusiast sites)

Front seat room

Plenty

Front seat support & comfort

Great--the Sport model has really good side bolstering and adjustable lumbar support + heated AND cooled seats.
