The quality and integration of the V8 motor and the autobox is the best I've experienced. Smooth, supple,powerful, quiet at low revs,snarling beast at high revs !! Power always available.
I tend to drive my car fairly lightly for most of the time and the car delivers smooth creamy comfort and a feeling of total security. The ride is relatively firm on 17" wheels but never rough.
In my opinion the fuel economy is nothing other than extraordinary. 35mpg on a motorway run at 75mph average, 27mpg 'round the doors'. Very easy to drive with economy in mind due to fuel computer and live data.
It is a pleasure turning up in a Jaguar! Mine is a Bordeaux metallic and really catches people's eye. It's a nice feeling having something so attractive.
The S-type Jaguar - what can one say about the styling? It's so unlike anything produce by the boring Germans. In my opinion the facelifted S-type is just beautiful.
Why Not the 2004 Jaguar S-Type?
