4dr Sedan 227-horsepower 3.0L V6 5-speed automatic AWD

Why the 2005 Jaguar X-Type?

Exterior styling

It is a great balance between Sporty and Classy. I just think it is such a sleek looking vehicle.

Powertrain performance

The AWD system has been great so far. Every other car I have owned whether it be FWD or RWD would slip in the rain on hills and even from stop light starts some times. The X-Type is 100% completely solid. Much safer feeling vehicle in the rain.

Handling

I think for a luxury type vehicle this car handles very well. My buddy has a BMW 540i and we all know BMW is the "Ultimate Driving Machine" well when going through s curves behind him i was able to keep up without any problem. On a straight he wins.

Materials & workmanship

I think the car is very solidly built from what I have experienced so far.

Why Not the 2005 Jaguar X-Type?

Fuel economy

I think the car is capable of doing a bit better on Fuel Economy. It is a 3.0 Litre V6 that gets 23MPG on a highway trip. I know the AWD system hinders that but I have heard of other AWD cars doing better and performing better.

Rear seat room & comfort

Well I am a taller person so when i have the drivers seat in my driving position there is virtually no room behind me so that makes the rear seat worthless for just about any person.
