Why the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Why Not the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Reliability & durability

Very poor reliability. Known failures of heater blower doors, window regulators, brake systems. Failures usually out of warranty. Same poor designs carried over from 2001 to 2004.

Materials & workmanship

Poor fit and finish. Design errors.

Past personal experience

I have a 2001 and 2002 Grand Cherokee and both have experienced the same heater and window failures. If it fails on one I can expect the same failure on the other.

Fuel economy

Worse than competitors in same SUV class.

Dealer practices

My local dealer charges over MSRP for service parts. I have called other dealers in the area and compared prices I have been charged, my local dealer is always higher. Dealers are all within 15 mile radius.
