Having issues with starter not always working correctly. Sometimes starter will not engage and other times it works just fine and starts right up. Does not seem to be the battery, starter, or key switch from what we can tell. It's sporadic and very hard to detect. Having trouble recreating the problem while in the shop. |

Did smoke test replaced missions sensor for the second time. Performed smoke test again, could not identify problem. Coincidentally another jeep liberty of the same year was at the shop checked previously replaced part and realized it was installed backwards. What is triggering lights due to it being a one-way valve turned valve around to face the other direction fixed problem and lights turned off immediately gas cap lights and check engine light which has been on for years has now off. |
