2021 Hyundai Elantra Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Performance from the 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and CVT is just adequate, and the engine can sound buzzy when hustled. The Kia Forte uses the same powertrain, so it performs no better, but you'll find considerably better performance in the top-trim Honda Civic and in any Mazda3. For more... 2019 Kia Forte Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The list of reasons not to buy a Kia Forte is shorter, and might only apply to the non-GT. In most driving its character isn't clearly that of a turbo, boost comes on... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Honda Civic |
2014 Nissan Sentra SL Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Nissan did nothing to make the Sentra's engine stronger for 2014, so powertrain performance remains the top reason not to buy one. Aided by a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the 130-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine motivates the 2,800-pound Sentra well enough, if much less quickly than the 173-horsepower 2.0-liter engine in... 2011 Kia Forte Pros and Cons Member4888 The engine and transmission seem to work great together. I have been babying the engine so far but it ha plenty of power to pass going from 70 to 80 with out struggling. |
