I've owned this LR3 for the past 5 years. Bought it used from a private seller with extended warranty. I am biased toward Land Rovers (this is my 3rd one) and the most reliable one so far.

Very quiet
Good acceleration.
Air suspension smooths almost any terrain
Only regular maintenance trip to the dealership
steering wheel feels light but very precise
Why Not the 2006 Land Rover LR3?
While it does not require much trip to the maintenance place, parts are not cheap. Shop around to avoir sticker shocks!
Black/dark plastics tend to fade. Invest in a (bi- ?) yearly plastic restoration to keep the great look.
Conclusion
I love it, but here are some reasons you could hate it!
