2006 Land Rover LR3 4dr SUV

300-horsepower 4.4L V8 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range

29000 mi   Check engine light. Code reader indicated code P0171, system lean bank 1. Dealer updated software in ecu. 
41000   One of the coolant system's hoses started to leak. The bleed valve was replaced 
16000   Weird sound is heard from engine/front axle area when the engine runs at 1500 rpm.

2006 Land Rover LR3 4dr SUV

216-horsepower 4.0L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range

29000 mi   Low coolant level warning comes on but coolant level is fine. Was told it was fixed, it was not. Was also told I need brakes, tires and air filter. I'd just installed permenant air filter and brakes and tires were fine. Not happy.

2005 Land Rover LR3 4dr SUV

300-horsepower 4.4L V8 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range

59000 mi US $300 Thermostat gave error message to computer so it was replaced. 
62000   Replace Ambient Air Sensor. Rewire sensor wiring on left front wheel to suspension sensor. Attributed to offroad use of vehicle and large tires. Cost includes $100 extended warranty deductible. 
93000   Transmission jerky at downshift. Dealer found ECU software out of date. Transmission software ok. Low Coolant indicator on screen caused by defective sensor in coolant tank. Tank replaced. Lower cooling hose had minor leak and hose had to be replaced. 
102000   Ignition Switch broke...key would not turn in ignition. Parts ordered. Vehicle left at dealership. Without vehicle for estimated 10 days. 
102000   Ignition Switch and Driver Door locks replaced with new cylinders and keys 
124000   Blown Head Gaskets...required replacement of several valves & guides...replacement of radiator...bleed valve on top of engine, hoses, engine flush. 
48000   Car had serious hesitation after coming to a rolling stop...jerked after a slow roling stop and having someone push on the gas pedal. Needed a software update and problem was solved.
