Common problem with brake calipers seizing up. Earlier this was a common problem with previous model years of the 4th-gen 4Runner. Not an issue with the 2007s, at least not yet.

Land Rover havereally pulled their QC into gear. Nothing wrong at all on this vehicle, and reports indicate the same on all of this model.
2006 4dr SUV 216-horsepower 4.0L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Only regular maintenance trip to the dealership
2005 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 4.4L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Always starts. I never have to worry about it starting or overheating.
Reliability and Durability of the Land Rover LR3: Cons

2006 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 4.4L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Constantly in the shop. Electrical issues. Towed in for repair 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
2005 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 4.4L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Overall, my car has been very reliable--particularly with respect to the major drivetrain components of the vehicle. However, items like the rear windshield wiper, the tailgate, the stereo, the horn, etc. have had numerous issues.
2005 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 4.4L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Electrical system is a joke. It's like Christmas time year round on my dashboard, with every single warning sign built into the vehicle lit up. The windows and rear gate work VERY sporadicly, often leaving me with a window down in the rain.
2005 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 4.4L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Lots of suspension and fuel system problems.
