Quietness
Road noise is minimal, even on bumpy roads, as is engine noise. However, there is some wind noise from the front door windows plus a noticeable ticking sound from the engine.
Fuel economy
For such a large & powerful car, fuel economy is quite good. Driving a ~100 mile/day round trip commute in bumper-to-bumper traffic, I get 24-28 mpg.
Safety & braking
Brakes are strong and predictable. The emergency braking assist works well. ABS does not inadvertently engage when going over potholes while braking as does on some earlier Toyotas. Good safety ratings, torso and curtain airbags all around, knee airbag
Powertrain performance
Transmission occasionally "slips" or "flares" when upshifting, resulting in power sag. Torque converter thunks/bangs occasionally when driver lifts gas pedal just after up shift and then presses again. Somewhat slow downshift, but avoidable via sport mode
Audio & nav systems
Audio system (standard, non ML upgrade) has poor sound quality: too much treble, minimal bass, and hollow sounding. Radio has especially bad sound. Nav system is slow to respond to inputs & nanny-lockout blocks use when car moving. Poor voice recognition
Rear seat room & comfort
If tall person sits in front seat, rear seat will not have a lot of legroom. Otherwise, very comfortable. Poor interior lighting in rear (front is bad, too, but slightly better).
Dealer practices
Dealer writes false warranty part replacement claims on paperwork to get $ from factory to cover courtesy work labor (eg tweaking user prefs via scan tool) and to make up for tire rotation cost discount I demanded they honor incorrect low price on website
