Now that it's been around for a few years, are you warming to the Lexus spindle grille? ISO younger buyers, Lexus has added drama to its exteriors. A lot of angles.
The F Sport variant has a mesh grille, dark wheels, deeper bucket seats, and a firmer suspension. Some people find the crisp lines of the Cadillac attractive. I'm still not sure.
The Lincoln is the most conventionally attractive of the three. Heavy Audi influence. All the angles can't hide the length of the front overhang. The RX's proportions aren't athletic.
The side glass cuts through the rear pillar for a floating roof effect. Nissan's latest cars have a similar rear pillar treatment, and dramatic surfacing.
Sophisticated and luxurious, or overly busy? The shiny wood is the real thing, but appears fake. The XT5's interior is much more attractive in a two-tone than in all-gray. Minimal trim.
Audi influenced the interior of the Lincoln as well. Clean, with matte-finished wood trim. Missing the point: infotainment display mounted in a depression on top of the dash.
I don't mind the mouse-like interface nearly as much as some reviewers have. Though the RX was redesigned for 2016, this compartment is sized for phones with four-inch screens.
Comfortable driver seat, but I prefer the more form-fitting bucket in the F Sport. The RX's back seat is roomier but less comfortable than those in the XT5 and MKX.
Cargo volume nothing special. The back seat doesn't fold flat. Steeply raked rear window cuts into cargo space.
Typical Lexus engine cover. The Lexus V6 isn't the most powerful, but it sounds better and feels smoother than the others.
