| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2004 | 4dr SUV 230-horsepower 3.3L V6 5-speed automatic FWD | Best value luxury brand SUV bar none. |
| Price of the Lexus RX: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 245-horsepower 3.5L V6 Hybrid 6-speed shiftable CVT AWD | The price is very high if compared to a Mazda CX-9, with similar features, similar performances and similar (i guess) reliability |
| 2009 | 4dr SUV 270-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD | more than $12000 more than the Murano with all the same bells and whistles |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 270-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | Overpriced |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 270-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | all of the above come with a price tag, which, over the long term, balance out with hopefully lower maintenance and operating costs |
| 2006 | 4dr SUV 208-horsepower 3.3L V6 Hybrid CVT AWD | This can be an expensive car. I would never buy one new and while I think there is value for money, I have issues with spending 55k on a car. I bought mine used on Ebay for a great price including shipping and have a friend who has done the same. |

| Price of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Pros | ||

| 2010 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD | Able to get 2500 under invoice which I can never get for for BMW. |
| Price of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Cons | ||

| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD | sticker $56k plus options |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 382-horsepower 5.5L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD | More than most peoples house note, but, you get what you pay for and it is a Mercedes. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 507-horsepower 6.2L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD | It is a $100,000 car. It is expensive, and it is expensive to maintain. This is easily a $150,000 investment over 3 years. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD | Much higher price than competators. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan 302-horsepower 5.0L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD | In light of the prices for all cars today, you get what you pay for and the Mercedes offers only the best. They are competitive. Only problem is high cost of repairs/maintenance. Labor costs. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 201hp 3.2L I6 Diesel 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD | Mercedes is one of the highest priced cars around. I think you pay some for the name, but some for safety and reliability |
| 2004 | 4dr Wagon 302-horsepower 5.0L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD | Paid very little for it (high mileage) but cheap to keep it is not. |
| 2004 | 4dr Sedan 221-horsepower 3.2L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD | They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. |
| 2003 | 4dr Sedan 302-horsepower 5.0L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD | High initial purchase price, about 10-20% above similar Lexis/Infinit models |

| 2006 | 4dr SUV 208-horsepower 3.3L V6 Hybrid CVT AWD |
This is a beautiful car. Inside and out it is quality, comfort and stylish. I have put over 20000 miles on it this year and everything works perfectly. |
| 2004 | 4dr SUV 230-horsepower 3.3L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
Quality of all the materials are good. Compare the lovely wood trim they provide standard with, say, Porsche and the over-a-grand price tag for every item with wood on it. No brainer. |
| 2002 | 4dr SUV 220-horsepower 3.0L V6 4-speed automatic AWD |
Very soft leather interior and wood trim on dash and steering wheel. Interior has a very upscale look and feel to it. |
| 2002 | 4dr SUV 220-horsepower 3.0L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
Very refined and well made. |

this is my only real complaint. the workmanship is inferior compared to our 2001 RX 300. But then again the 2001 was built in Japan and the 2009 built in Canada. Quality of materials is also inferior to the 2001. |

| 2010 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
Flawless S-Class materials and workmanship built into the Luxury E350/4 by knowledgable and proud craftsmen from inspired engineers who created an entirely new design. These are evident in every part of this automobile: This is a game-elevating auto. |
| 2009 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 210hp 3.0L V6 Diesel 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
The plastics are soft, the wood is rich and the leather is thick. Although the car is 3 years old with almost 40k miles, I have not heard a squeak or a rattle despite Houston's cratered concrete highways. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Great Door hinges - look well engineered. Under the hood is a work of art. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 382-horsepower 5.5L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
The materials and workmanship reflect the name Mercedes has made for themselves over the years. All leather interior, bullet proof paint, the beast front seats in the business, and amenities one expects in a luxury sedan. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
The wood is deep and beautiful. There are no squeaks or rattles over the worst bumps. The panel gaps are pretty tight and controls are very solid, without wobble or extraneous movement. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Car is built like a bank vault. Feels brick solid. No rattles, squeaks or leaks whatsoever. No loose screws, bolts or mountings. |

The car is meticulously put together. Nice fit and finish and a flawless paint job. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 382-horsepower 5.5L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |

| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Nearly flawless assembly and attention to detail. Very, very little feels cheaper than it should, which I cannot say about the 5 Series BMW or moreso, the Volvo S80. Everything mechanical, such as doors and accessories, operates with a quality feel. |
| 2006 | 4dr Sedan turbocharged 201hp 3.2L I6 Diesel 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
First rate quality materials, touch and smell adds to the pleasant cabin. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan supercharged 469hp 5.4L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Materials look great and fit together nicely, though as noted above certain features have long term reliability issues (glovebox door, active seat bolsters, seat ventilation, e.g.) |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan 302-horsepower 5.0L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Quality of materials and workmanship abound in this E500. The interior is made of obviously high quality materials, and the quality of the exterior materials is also apparent. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan supercharged 469hp 5.4L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Mercedes does a wonderful job with the fit and finish. Tranny shifts like no other car I have ever owned and the steering is just so perfect. Hardly ANY road noise. |
| 2004 | 4dr Sedan 221-horsepower 3.2L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
