Very quickly after I got done repairing the burnt coil problem, I had to replace alternator and shorty after that I hit something on the highway with my right front about where the LF side marker light is. It caused $5100 damage. Needs headlight, LF fender, LF door, etc. Shortly after that the battery light started intermittently coming on. Sometimes it would go out if you shut car off, and upon restart it would go out, but sometimes it would run down the battery. Just the other day when the battery went down the positive cable where the terminal end is was so hot it burnt my finger! After it was towed home, I started it and ran it for a hour fine. I believe it has an intermittent short somewhere. I sure wish someone has an idea where the short is?? |
