I was making a u-turn and placed the vehicle into reverse and it would not move. Placed it in drive, still would not move, tried putting it neutral to get it to roll, nothing had to flatbed it to mechanic. the replaced the TSS, OSS

2008 Lincoln MKX 4dr SUV

265-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed automatic AWD

59520 mi Leaking transfer case seal. Replaced under warranty in less than 3 hours. 
12000 mi Power Take off fluid/seal leak,(PTO) which has been common on AWD vehicles. Fluid leak causes burning smell inside vehicle. Service completed within 2 hours, seems OK now. 
13000 mi It was a disconcerting problem for a car that is 11 months old. Backing out of garage the reverse conked out. Had to be towed to dealer. After some foot-dragging they finally paid for rental car. Engine runs a bit sluggish since, next appointmt: 1 month.
