Why the 2006 Lincoln Town Car?

Reliability & durability

Own a 200 Crown Vic - same platform. Only had two very minor repairs (sensors) in eight years. Built to last forever. Bulletproof engine. Town car plant no 1 plant in North America for initial quality. Everything built solidly. Proven design.

Ride smoothness

Like driving living room couch. Driving 100 miles feels like driving ten. RWD V8. Last car built with full body on frame construction. Very solid.

Past personal experience

Based on Crown Vic - same platform - very reliable, cheap parts, easy to work on so labor is cheap too. Very safe - baby goes in back seat in car seat in center. First car to ever get five star safety four years in a row.

Powertrain performance

A little underpowered but floats down the highway at 70 mph plus. 25 mpg on highway

Cargo capacity

21 cu ft of trunk space - huge trunk. Back seat comfortably fits three adults - not jockeys.
