Ignition system went totally haywire. Got "Keyless system malfunction" error codes (no start), OBD codes relating to ABS and SBCS systems, throttle bottle and starter clicking constantly after the car was turned off. Most concerningly it ended up devolving into a situation where we could not turn off the engine without pulling a fuse. The car would cycle through "off," accessory, and on modes inside (gauges, accessories, etc.), but the engine remained on and running the whole time. I was able to usually return the car to a drivable by disconnecting the battery and waiting long enough for the ECU to reset. The vehicle spent days at the dealer but they were unable to find anything wrong. We ended up trading the vehicle in for another brand. Some research I did indicated it might be related to multiple TSBs related to the ignition system for 2013-early 2014 CX-5s. The car was unsafe...should've been a recall.
11000 mi intake gasket loose
23640 mi Dealer detected a head gasket leak during normal maintenance visit and recommended repair. Took 1.5 days to fix.  Repair wasn't properly done; coolant tank then emptied on the engine while driving, had to tow to a nearby dealer to fix that.
16500 mi Engine check light on; the mechanic stated that there is a small leaking in the emission system, probably from gas cap.
32860 mi Vehicle stalled when foot was off the gas pedal. MAF sensor was diagnosed as deficient, and replaced. Problem solved.
18000 mi belt defective
1500 mi Reflashed my engine management system after downloading all data. Vehicle not getting anywhere near EPA. Computer and manual recordings have mid-teens MPG. Update: at 4,400 miles finally getting EPA numbers. Maybe engine just needed to break in.

8200 mi Check engine light came on with code PO128. Which to me seems like a stupid thing to make the light come on. They had a TSB that stated for them to reprogram the PCM for this issue.
