2dr Convertible 170-horsepower 2.0L I4 6-speed manual RWD

Why the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

Exterior styling

looks great, muscular style, looks more expensive than it really is

Handling

on UK country lanes that are narrow and bending, its like a car on rails. feels like driving a co-kart evan at low speeds, you dont have to drive it fast to get real driving enjoyment

Safety & braking

even in a small sports car you feel safely enclosed in its shell braking is first class

Interior styling

practical, functional, does not distract you from the driving experience, thats what a sports car interior is all about, the interior cabin can be individualised by adding third party extras

Reliability & durability

its a mazda, it may be said to be too reliable, is there such a thing, this is my second masda mx-5, i ran my first one for 6 years, not one trip to the mazda garage

Why Not the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata?

Discounts & incentives

there are no discounts in the UK for the mx5, trade-ins are often lowly priced. you have to work hard with the dealership to get the best deal

Dealer practices

high servicing costs in the UK, my first mx5 was a right hand drive japanese import mx5, my nearest dealerships would not even recognise it as a mx5, until i complained to mazda direct. a take it or leave it attitude at times.
