Fearing a coolant leak I had the dealership perform a leak test and none was found. Additional coolant was used to top off the level and according to the service dept the temperature drop caused the coolant to contract. This inspection was completed free of charge.

Since the oil wasn't dripping and the oil level wasn't going down, I declined to have the repair done. I returned to the dealer after the warranty was up (just after 50,000 miles) and the dealer said they would fix it under warranty. They said that the hydraulic tensioner for the serpentine belt was leaking. I told them to fix the slight leak in the cam chain cover, and also replace the hydraulic serpentine belt tensioner, and replace the serpentine belt while they were at it. The replacement of the hydraulic serpentine belt tensioner and the new serpentine belt cost me around $210.
