I suspect one of the welds in the rear pillars above wheels broke. Broken weld noises are so annoying and so hard to fix that some people sell the cars. Best Play: I made a cast around the weld out of expanding foam to deaden the sound. : /

New headliner delivered damaged. Another one ordered and car left at shop. Replacement liner received on Weds and car returned.
