Why the 2005 Mazda RX-8?

Handling

Among the easiest cars to drive quickly. Extremely balanced chassis and quick, accurate, nicely weighted steering make for intuitive handling. About as much fun as you can have on a curvy road.

Rear seat room & comfort

Adults my height (5-9) can actually fit in the back seat of the RX-8. And getting in and out is aided by a second set of rear-hinged doors. Other sports cars have no rear seat or a very small one.

Ride smoothness

Smoother ride than other sports cars, such as the Scion FR-S and Honda S2000.

Quietness

Quieter than those other sports cars as well. The FR-S is too loud for comfortable highway cruising, and the S2000 can become tiresome even around town with the top up--you hear a lot of noise from the transmission.
