Reviewed: 2006 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

4dr Sedan 362-horsepower 5.4L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Why the 2006 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Exterior styling

Good looking, classic lines, love the rear lip spolier which is stock OEM item on the C55 AMG; Front looks great too. Wheels and tires (18 inchers) are bothe pleasing to look at easy to find replacement tires for.

Safety & braking

Stops on a dime, not as good as a Boxster, BUT very good stock brakes. See no need to upgrade brakes other than different pads like Akebonos.

Handling

Tight handling, no tendency to oversteer, more tendency to understeer (push)

Materials & workmanship

Not a single problem since purchased 2008 from original owner, seat heaters were a known issue on this and the C32 AMG
