Why the 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Exterior styling

The lines are stunning. I fell in love with the car the 1st time I saw it.

Interior styling

It is well thought out and classic/timeless. No gimmiky or overly stylized attributes. It still looks as modern today as it did 5 years ago.

Brand reputation & image

It is the quintisential Mercedes.

Materials & workmanship

Quality exuedes from everywhere. The car is solid solid solid.

Depreciation

I bought my car in may of 2008 for 22k, sticker was 59k. The depreciation is the only way that I could have afforded the car. I would have been very upset over it if I bought the car new.

Why Not the 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Audio & nav systems

They are slightly dated, even when the car was new. MB is not known for good navigation. Audio and Nav need to be stronger in a car of this calibar.

Price or payments

They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Reliability & durability

My repairs are mostly for simple things that should last longer. Engine and Trans are stellar.
