The styling is fresh, rounded and not squarish like previous model, simple and elegant.

Conclusion

We're very happy with this Mercedes SUV. It has a fairly economical turbo 4-cylinder with plenty of power if you step on it, and good handling. It has great safety features and is very comfortable. It's roomy for four people, a little tight for 5, with decent cargo space. The driving mode options are nice. Comfort is the default, but you can switch to ECO whci lets you glide for long periods, or to Sport whichtightens up suspension and shift points. The only negative for me is the overly complicated electronic interface. Navigation inputs are a hassle, there are lots of menus, two controls including a touchpad and rotary wheel, all backed up by a 350-page manual. The car is great but there's a steep learning curve for the navigation/radio/system controls, which should be much simpler.

Owned since March 2017 and I agree with almost all of this review. My only disagreement is the comment on the complexity of the electronic interface, I find it fairly intuitive and not at all onerous to use. Mind you, this isn't my first Mercedes so I might be indoctrinated in Mercedes-speak.

Altogether a terrific vehicle and I have no regrets with my selection over the large number of competitors I considered.
